Amal Stefanos is an Eritrean researcher, writer and educator who is passionate about exploring African culture and politics through the lens of the diaspora. Born in Nairobi, Kenya, she is known for her deep knowledge and thought-leadership on the Horn and Eastern Africa. Amal holds a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University and M.A. in Conflict, Security & Development from the University of Sussex. Her other work has been featured on The Red Sea Radio.
